Objective
The course shows up the behaviour that leads to inefficient use of time. You will be given practical tips for carrying our your work more effectively and more efficiently.
Course content
During the course you will look at your own ineffective time management behaviour. You will learn about what causes this and will work on a more effective approach. We look at limiting factors: why do intentions not have the desired effect?
Subjects that will be discussed include:
- Setting goals
- Learning who are the time-wasters and disrupters
- Organising your workplace
- Short-term and long-term planning
- Saying ‘No’
- Delegating
- Vitality for maintaining balance
You will leave the course with greater personal resolve.
During the peer review meeting a few weeks later, we will review the course and evaluate one another’s personal goals and experiences.
Working method
Before the first day of the course you will complete a questionnaire. You will also keep a diary and a to-do list. You will take these with you to the course.
The course offers a mix of concise theory, inspiring exercises and practical methods and tips that may seem obvious, but which you often do not think of in daily practice.
